I am currently facing the issue of UEFI Boot Instability and Random Display Blackouts – ASUS ProArt X570 Creator WiFi + TUF RTX 3080 OC 12GB
System Configuration:
•Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (16 Cores / 32 Threads)
•Motherboard: ASUS ProArt X570-Creator WiFi
•Graphics Card: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 OC 12GB (LHR)
•Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB (32GB x 2) DDR4 3600MHz
•Primary Storage: Samsung 980 PRO 2TB NVMe Gen4 SSD
•Secondary Storage: Seagate 2TB HDD
•Cabinet: Corsair 5000D Airflow Mid Tower
•Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE 850 V2, 80 Plus Gold
•CPU Cooler: Cooler Master ML360L RGB Liquid Cooler
•Monitor: ASUS ProArt Display PA279CV 4K
Issue Description:
1.My display goes to random blackout/ blank display with CPU, keyboard, Audio running fine.
2.These random blackouts occur inconsistently — even during light desktop usage (not just under heavy load).
3.After a random blackout or power loss, when restarting the PC, the system attempts to boot in UEFI mode, but the display stays dark gray — no BIOS splash or boot screen appears.
4.During this, the system continues running in the background — fans spin normally, keyboard shortcuts work, and audio continues to play (if something was running).
5.After two or three shutdown and restart attempts, the system eventually falls back to CSM (Compatibility Support Module) mode and then boots successfully.
6. Issue is less frequent during heavy tasks like rendering etc and is more frequent when switching windows, tabs etc.
