Using an External Webcam or Action Camera

I have a Chromebook Flip Model Number C101P. I would like to use a web cam or and action cam with it, but there is nothing in the settings that allows me to do so. How can I connect an external webcam or action camera to my chromebook.

You can directly plug in the camera you need.
Is the camera detected or some other issue?
