I have an ASUS F510UA laptop which did not come with a backlit keyboard. I was able to obtain a keyboard that has a backlight. I plugged in the ribbon cable and it works perfectly with the exception of the backlight function.
Is there a driver that I need to install that will make it work? or could it be a hardware limitation?
-I have tried updating the keyboard driver in device manager with no luck.
My BIOS does not list any backlit keyboard options
Windows Settings do not show any backlit keyboard settings
The keyboard model number is 0KNB0-4626UI00
Laptop model: ASUS F510UA-AH51
Thanks!
