Howdy all,

Recently my pc started having issues, where it would crash randomly, with random BSODs, and just lots of wonky stuff.

I tried to do a fresh install of Windows. I could hardly get it installed; it failed multiple times, but eventually I was able to get it done. Even then it would still BSOD; I had a 13th-gen i9 as the daily driver. I swapped in my i7 and still had the same issues; ultimately, I ended up getting the CPU RMA'd from intel, which was nice but still did not solve the BSOD's. Putting the i9 into another motherboard I have, it works with no problem, so we ended up purchasing a new motherboard to go with the new i9.

Which all goes to say that it seems the motherboard itself had failed, which may or may not have taken out the old i9, but I am not 100% certain about that. I was wondering if anyone had any luck reaching out to support despite the warranty being expired for a *free* repair/replacement. It just stinks since it was an expensive motherboard to have it go out like that, but I do not want to cause a big fuss over it either.

The warranty had expired on: 2025-10-09, so I am not expecting much; I figured I would at least ask to see what others have experienced with support before "wasting my time” or throwing away the motherboard.

Thanks!
