Why should one worry about that? So you have to look out for company's entire portfolio just to hope that your product gets support? This is not how it works. You buy something, you care and worry about only that thing, its company's job to prioritise and allocate resources in such way one product doesn't affect the other.…

No one said it better. But it's dead, rog 2 support is dead.
-
so RoG Phone 2 is abandoned? @ARP_ASUS @Anders_ASUS
-
@ARP_ASUS any update?
-
Hoping to hear back from @Anders_ASUS
-
Nope, that didn't help. It the genuine bug and it reported, reproduced and fixed earlier.
-
It started happening just after the update. And its more frequent now than earlier.
-
Okay, I get that you have better info and explaination, but that tone could have been better. @PhysiTech never suggested not to do "service repair". He just put out his observations and simply asked if someone can confirm that behaviour. Technically this answer is the perfect "accepted" one. But not the language. He had…

Meh, so you think any guy on this forum doesn't know about this webpage? What this page proves? Nothing. As I said earlier, " Let me know how one was suppose to get info if asus had voWiFi for airtel? No info in product specs. If somehow you knew it didn't had, one would assume they would add it later considering its such…

You are repeating same stuff all the time. Also I clearly stated, wasn't talking about windows update, but more specifically the way asus handles device support. BIOS and Asus's update utility are supported and updated by asus the manufacturer and not microsoft. Seems like someone is being lazy and not doing research. And…

Circumstantial stuff. All of the 3rd party blockers ate estimated before hand. Perhaps way before product is released for first time. So that you have defined timeline for them. Again I don't see any reason as to simple things getting delayed bfor 18 months, you say whatever you want but voWiFi on Airtel is not some edge…

You read that 1st paragraph yourself. It's real fanboy moment. I can list many brands, even asus's own laptop division having better documented device support plan. Also I guess infinixes, xolos and tecnos are really investing 1-1.5 years to get voWiFi working technically and "contractually" with Airtel for their 5-10k INR…

It's already proven that Asus doesn't know what Bimonthly means. Atleast 2 - 3 out of last year's 6 updates were late. And 4-5weeks late. Also I don't think not having clarity/official revert om android Update policy can be discounted because of "device is complicated". I mean you could have upfront put a statement saying…

3rd party Devs with restricted access can do this in a year that to with very little financial help and free time. So asus's in house devs, who built this in the first place should have been able to do better job and in way less time. Specially considering all the resources that may have been open to them. Just proves its…

Can you check this one latest OTA? So far I haven't seen it occuring. Though "okay google" hotword while connected to bluetooth device doesn't work. It says "can't connect google at the moment" even when I have active connection.

I think "Asus CEO Office" will help you here. You have too google it get to region specific complaint page. Else you check these: https://indiacsc.asus.com/CEO_FeedbackForm.aspx And ask them to get you connected to global/Malaysia office. These are backend teams help you expeditew your issues. My friend had his 1.5 years…

So what's the problem in someone else bringing the "eligible" phone for repair? Warranty is provided for product not to a person right? And fact that if it's already registered by user, then it nullifies the argument of "being black marketed" or etc. If owner is to be verified, to check if device is stolen, then service…

Solution: buy new device, one that's not from asus, or at the very least not a RoG product.
-
Source? And if it's true, then why nor just drop Rog 2 support already? So people should wait for 4 months for incremental ota? Just bug fixes and patches? RoG is now hot pile of garbage!
-
If I were to believe that then After 3 and half months since last update, and about year or half since original report, they yet didn't address bluetooth voip call mic issues and vowifi. And now we have to wait another 2-3months?🤦♂️Its nail in the coffin now.
