Since you got rog 5s, which must be fairly new and under the warranty, i would like to tell you charger comes under the warranty and you can get a new one with no cost if its not working. Cause rog charger tends to stop working. I got a new one when my charger stopped working. But just the charging adaptor, cable will cost… -

I already once got my motherboard replaced back in November cause phone died on its own. After the replacement performance is down but temps are high like before but performs poor than it used to before replacement. Other than performance downgrade while gaming, phone is working fine.

Top temperature my phone went upto 60°c with xmode on while playing genshin impact.

Please someone make a preview video of android 12 on ROG phone 5 as for others users (like myself) to decide whether its a good UI or should one wait bit more till its polished nicely for the device.

I agree with you on cpu performance. They have improved what it was in .229. Please check the speakers depth cause i compared my phone with my brother's phone which is in .229 and it has more depth than what i have in .231.

Seems like they messed up the speakers once again cause volume at above 90 seems like to have sound modulation issue as if voice is going up and down. First i thought its in just one music video. Same thing happened to me. And its cpu is capped at 1.56ghz.

They have capped the cpu performance to 1.56ghz in latest .229 update. Tried with genshin impact, pubg and even tried few benchmark apps, all are stuck at 1.56ghz. I guess they are scared that if they dont cap the cpu then each and every rog phone 5 will need a motherboard replacement. My phone once already got motherboard…

I went to the service centre and it was a faulty charging adaptor issue. So they took my faulty charging adaptor and will get me new one as they get it in couple of days.

I checked again and released my ROG phone 5 is not charging properly even with different ROG phone 5 30 watt charger. May be there is an issue with port and charger... Try resetting network and wifi setting only option in reset phone setting. It worked for me.

I have submitted my ROG 5 to the service centre and also shared the RMA and serial number of it in PM.

Today my ROG phone died and its not booting at all even the 15 seconds press of all keys is also not working . i will search for service centre near me and will go see what they suggest and will share it with you over here and in PM.
