Ok, i can see it having headphone jack (stereo) as the phone is neither dust or water resistent. So why not. That's purely your opinion, and not relevent at all. Unless you have some sort of mysterious proof lol. Tencent is a global company, just like many American companies. Obviously if your a target/high ranking…

hahahhahha. ASUS doesnt want your ROG3 back. It was broken from the start. Best bet is to go to your service provider and maybe they have a upgrade deal. They don't want your ROG3, but they want your money each month, so that's a chance lol.

Audiophiles should not go for ASUS phones, literally most other high end phones are better. Headphone jack will not be included as per every phone (not a big loss). Dual front facing speakers is something included in phones from 2017, and yes they should do that. ASUS is partnering with Tencent for this phone, not sure why…

Simple answer.... They are a PC manufacturer trying to make money in a Phone industry. This is why after 2 or 3 variations of their phone, a simple issue like VoLTE and Wifi calling can't be fixed for every carrier. Let alone the bigger issues the phone has. ROG carried a certain value for me, but with phones...completely…

ASUS does not support it and will say it's really hard. XDA people have got it working using ROG2 fixes. I'd probably use their guides, if you don't mind rooting etc. You'll be locky to see it fixed on ROG3, as ROG5 is now the new baby. Which i would guess it's not working there either, because too hard lol.

That's inline with the ASUS comment so far. Will be considered for future phones. They've long since moved on from this phone, 6 months after release. Really haven't seen any issues on here fixed, via update, since i've owned the phone.
  • realistix
I would go to XDA if i were you. ASUS is more than happy to unlock, but that's where their support ends. As above, you won't be able to re-unlock for some stupid reason, but who knows, XDA guys might know a way to solve ASUS incomitance.

If you can't dial out or receive calls....It's probably an issue with 3G wherever you are. Exactly why ASUS needs to add VoLTE like every other phone manufacturer. This phone has so many issues for me as well, to do with phone calls. I've switched back to my Huawei just to continue receiving and making calls that i can…

Most likely when ASUS can actually build it. If it's taking this long, it means they have issues, but they'll say "we're working out some bugs and want the best experience for our users" hahha.

The dude cannot give you that guide, because that is exactly what will happen. I could Root, install custom ROM and Kernel, lose fingerprint, lose face unlock, lose warranty.....but great irrelevant benchmark score. My point is, once rooted, you have no idea what has been done to achieve any score in a benchmark, hence the…

In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc. You have to give some details.. Your screen is broken by the sounds, or you need to press power button to turn it on.

ROG will 100% have 888. ASUS are factory line phones, nothing new. I'd be asking more questions about panel type tbh.
  • realistix
Try downloading google dialler app from playstore. ASUS dialler has lots of bugs.
  • realistix
    Which wallpaper are you trying?
  • realistix
Not everyone is from India, Pubg does not have a special India only version....Or if they do, just get different version. It's Android my man, other versions work
  • realistix
FYI, with unlocked bootloader.... Download FW from ASUS site and you will get pop up to install. Asus should help considering they provide the tool to unlock tbh. They should call it the "cancel help unlock". Phne companies get away with anything these days..... Hold them accountable as much as they deserve. Zentalk could…
  • realistix
lmao. Please add Volte so i don't have to come here anymore smh.
  • realistix
You can download stock FW from ASUS website. Otherwise Factory reset is the same thing if you are on latest already. You cannot downgrade FW as I said earlier, without unlocking. In which case, you go to XDA as mentioned by MV.
  • realistix
Hey mate, get in line hahaha. Worldwide ROM does not mean worldwide to Asus. They're very selective.
  • realistix
Mate just flash latest FW. Once booted, do factory reset. You won't be able to downgrade FW unless unlocked. Note, you will lose all local data during reset.
  • realistix
This is a WorldWide ROM. Which means ASUS just has to do bare minimum. Already confirmed they will not support it in Australia. But hey, they fiddled with grey scale, that's important lol. Actually not even best spec phone now, they lost that too.
  • realistix
Wow, you'll accept anything as good enough. Yes, i agree the the developers of the phone should be on holidays, however ASUS is happy to sell the phone and take my money any time of year. They could have pushed an update early, even just security fix. Stop supporting lazy manufactures, or we will see this again next phone.
  • realistix
I'll never understand why people go out of their way to defend a phone manufacturer that has had many goes at making a phone, and still can't get it right. Sure there are issues (in hardware) that can't be fixed, but they don't own that, do they. Massive name in ASUS backing them, yet a obvious failure of a phone. Black…
  • realistix
I mean that dude didn't make the phone and promise updates. Can't really blame him for asking where they are. Don't defend big phone companies, they can do a lot better.
  • realistix
What exactly are you looking for them to fix? Is it just security update you want? I don't think ASUS is putting much into this phone anymore, they got the sales they needed, now just cruising till next phone. Google security update is no deal breaker for this type of phone tbh. Let them enjoy their Christmas haha.

Unfortunately its not going to happen. ASUS support has given up on this phone. I've seen this with manufacturers before. HTC had the same attitude to updates, right before getting out of phone business. I'd expect maybe 2 more phones from ASUS (as they are in the works) before people realise and stop purchasing their…

Mate they don't support VoLTE in Australia at all for some unbelievable reason. 5G you can turn on in Network settings, however i would leave it turned off. The phone only supports low band 5G which is in most cases worse than 4G. I'm with Optus.
  • realistix
What a bad response to an issue. It's like buying a $1500 computer and it has a obvious issue, like mouse not working or something, then saying "we'll fix it for next one, please buy that" haha. This phone is sold around performance/entertainment/gaming etc... (it's definitely not for it's phone features (eg. lack of VoLTE…

Question was about prolonging battery life, I just gave my opinion. Some people would like their phone to last 3 years and beyond. If you read up on li-ion battery care, your phone can actually last for 5 years or more depending on usage, and keep the exact charge as if you just bought it. Completely depends on usage of…
  • realistix
Has there actually been a reason for not adding VoLTE? I'm getting major HTC vibes from the responses here. HTC said exactly the same thing almost 3 years ago. Then they sold off their phone division. A company looking to actually break into markets or at least get a footing, would no doubt jump on every common feature as…
