Yeah I am also quite happy with the update, it feels surprisingly smoother, wasn't expecting that. The only thing missing is black crush issue, which is quite serious as I have to use it on 90Hz instead of 144Hz as the issue gets way worse at 144Hz. So sad they this couldn't be fixed.
Same here. It's always Hypercharging.
The Black Crush is still a problematic thing, and I am surprised none of the major Youtubers talked about it in their review. At 144Hz, the contrast is so shifted that it's just unusable, so I always keep the phone at 90Hz, and even there, the black crush issue is present. It's so unfortunate, as otherwise, the phone has…
Don't think anyone else had reported screen tearing, image retention, you're probably the only one who has it. Black crush issue is something I am facing too, but by 'tweak' they mean adjustments that would improve/fix it, 'tweaks' are a part of permanent fix.
Hope the black crush problem improves with the next update, i am also facing it.
Black crush isn't 'fixed', they've just added an overlay that increases brightness in blacks when video is playing but that makes pure blacks appear greyish, if you don't understand, turn on 'Disable HW overlays' in developer options and see the difference. This isn't a long term solution, they still need to tweak levels…
Yeah I am also facing the crackling sound in speaker during phone calls but not while watching regular videos.
Phone heating is due to Heatsink, it transfers heat from battery and components to the body of the phone, it means its working well, and not trapping heat inside, check JerryRigEverything's video, they have thermal paste and all that. Check sensors it's not that hot. Also this cpu runs at 3.01GHz. I also didn't face other…
Do you guys notice a red tint in the greys and a very slight reduction in contrast when changing from 90 to 120 and 144Hz? It's an issue present on my device. EDIT: Compared with my oneplus 6, the grays seem to be fine, the op6 actually has more red tint than rog 3, however, at 90Hz and 144Hz there's a great difference the…
