Update: I uninstalled armoury crate completely. Downloaded the Apr 2022 version of armoury and reinstalled. That solved the update problems for now.

With a new update in Armoury crate, a similar problem arose as below. Again the Device Kit section with "ASUS Core SDK " and "ASUS Main SDK plugin" cannot be updated. Using WMIC this time, I do not see these 2 items to uninstall. What can I do this time?

Yes, this finally worked. Thanks for the last suggestion.

Updated. The problem still exists.

Yes, this update below keeps popping up repeatedly after clicking on the update button. Full uninstall and reinstall with the latest version did not resolve it.

Thank you GEEK_ASUS. The above fixed it. I had to do the Window 11 restore, run the fix.bat file from the youtube video, then rerun the windows update. Thankful that it finally worked.

I received another firmware update to version 409 today. Tried to disconnect/reconnect the right side USB C 10 times and each time it worked. I think the issue seems to be solved! Thanks ASUS team for working on this.

Interestingly, when I tried the same disconnect/reconnect procedure with the left side usb C, it seems to be working well after more than 10 times without the need to shutdown. For the right side usb C, it is now failing almost every time I disconnect. I have to shutdown, reboot, sometimes have to try a few times before…

There was a firmware update today. After the update this morning, I tested the usb C disconnect/reconnect routine for 4 times and each time the display came back on. I was getting more optimistic when the 5th try failed again! This same evening, I rebooted again. Then used the laptop with the usb C display for a few hours.…

I'm not sure how many of you took the advice to send the x13 back for repairs. I did, and just got it back after almost 4 weeks! They changed the motherboard and tested and indeed it came back working. Now, after the repairs, the usb C connection remains stable during use. I didn't encounter the same sudden display signal…

To Blake_ASUS Can I confirm your advice is for us all to send the X13 in for repair or replacement?

I have connected the X13 to the LG 35WN75C (USB C 94W) and Lenovo ThinkVision T27h-20 Q7'' QHD Type-C (65W). Both monitors work ok with my Lenovo and Dell laptops via USB-C one cable for charging and display. With the X13, the one cable solution almost worked except for the annoying drop-off after using for a while (for…

BTW, I'm still using Win10 with all the latest updates installed. One more observation is that when the display via USB C disconnected after operating ok for a while: unplug and plug USB C does not restore the display restart does not restore the display proper shutdown with USB C connector still connected, then restart,…

Hi, I also have the same problem: USB C connection with PD from monitor to USB C port of the Flow X13: initially the X13 can connect to the monitor (tried Lenovo 65W and LG 94W PD) and the PD is charging the X13 ok after a while, the charging of the X13 stops (despite not fully charged) and the display disconnected with…
