  I can't get VoWiFI to work sometimes, but I find this gets it working. Connect to WiFi, Go to: Settings>Network & Internet>Mobile Network> Toggle VoLTE OFF This should get your phone latch to VoWiFi. You can turn on VoLTE and in my case it remains latched to VoWiFi and reverts back to VoLTE after WiFi is disconnected.
