Agreed. Noticing the same after recent update. Asus please look into this, I hardly get a day's use from.a full charge. Used to get two days previously.

Yes. I do. Ram management has gotten slightly better and worse. Apps do stay in memory but for some reason, they automatically close sometimes (mostly when home button is pressed).

Netflix was working fine for me from the start. So no problems there.

Hi, thanks for responding. Can anything be done from the ASUS team to take this to the higher ups of Amazon? This could be a deal-breaker for a lot of people thinking of buying ZF6 as streaming is very common these days and HD is the bare basic standard these days.

How come it works for you Paras? It doesn't even say hd for me. And the quality on Prime is bad. Btw Netflix plays in HD fine.

Nope. I have a 100MPBS connection and the settings are at best. It is Widevine related dear sir.

It happens everytime. Irrespective of any app. Even with 3rd party launchers.

I don't think that is the issue. Prime plays in HD in a few of my friend's phones. Their executive lacks knowledge.

For me Netflix works in 1080p. It is with Prime I don't get HD.

I meant about the next update. Maybe it will remove the heating issue altogether...just need to wait.

Let us give the team the benefit of the doubt and wait for the update before coming to conclusions, shall we? The product is still in its nascency and as with any product it will take some time to settle.

Yes, this is a serious widespread issue and should be on top of your priority list of things that need fixing Asus.

My device is brand new...so I am guessing it shouldn't be that. But will see for a few more days with the method you have suggested and revert back with findings.

After trying out the method Alan John suggested, I must say the heating has reduced but only by a bit. However, the app restarts are still persistent.
