I have some very good news, but before that, I just want to thank you for your time! I really appreciate it. Firstly, I left some details out yesterday about how the Phone was dried after I dropped it into water. Firstly, I immediately switched it off and called that friend, he actually did not heat the boards, he used a…

Thanks man, I am checking those references you've been adding. I'll try them all and if no change, then try to get a spare. I'm now convinced that the speaker is indeed faulty, do you think that's the reason why the upper earpiece is louder? Because I assume there is one common amp for both pieces, and because the bottom…

So, this was in September, the water was regular tap water as it comes in india, not distilled. He had a heating network at his home which he used to get the back panel off. Then he disconnected the battery and then took other components out, he dried everything well with the same heat gun. Every component in there was…

@Anders_ASUS I'm hoping you could help me understand this better please. I cannot visit the service center just to have it all checked and my phone is out of warranty anyway. The issue got fixed fixed for a while but it came back and since then I have tried everything, I even rolled back to the original factory image. My…

It seems that the Beta section is exclusively available to only those users who had been admitted to the Beta Testing program. I'm not one of them and have heard that Beta Testers were not allowed to talk about anything related to the program outside, so if you could kindly provide a link to engage, that would be very…

That's obviously one reason. But changes to the LED aren't going so well, colors settings in apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Insta also seem to make the LED not respond. Like there is white, but when I select White for some apps, the LED doesn't come on. Red and Amber are working correctly though.

So I did try some popular apps like Light flow, LED Light manager etc. They do not work well, beyond Red and Green and cause the phone to reboot randomly and make the launcher crash. As of now, I would say that it is unadvisable to use apps to modify Notification LED configurations. I might start a discussion, will quote…

I'm just finding out that the ZF6 actually has NO BLUE AT ALL, which kinda sucks. Frankly, I'm not even interested in the LED color much other than some basic functions. I'm proud of owning a ZF6 and though I don't refer to the LED Notifier much, its unfortunate that Asus saved in decimals by cutting down on the LED module…

If your new battery is acting up as well then it's likely that this is being caused due to a faulty connector or perhaps due to some component failure on the power circuit board. This is possible and a knowledgeable professional would be able to diagnose correctly and help you. Firstly, this is important for you to know…

I never charge any of my devices above 80% and so the LED changing colors at 100 isn't really any useful for me lol. As for the hardware, the LED module does support multiple colors, as I use and the power circuits are capable enough to sense charge levels as well as modulate parameters. However, this might not be as…

You should try posting this in the ROG2 community, you'll receive better support from fellow ROG2 users. Because this is a ZenFone6 thread, you won't find solutions here. I suggest you create a new discussion altogether, and mention details of your device there. Thanks, Scooo.

Yes, very likely the versions aren't actually different. They are very likely same, given the devices all have the same feature sets, except a few improvements with the carrier functions, which should be global as well. Anyway, congratulations on successful upgradation!
  • Scooo
The TW (WW) is actually the global version. If your phone currently has WW version on, you can go ahead and have it installed. Go to System>About Phone>Software Information and check the build number. If there's WW in it then you can very well install the available global package. However, if it says US currently, then it…

Some third-party apps have limited compatibility with A11 when it comes to functionality, perhaps you can wait for the developers to make some enhancements or find solutions in similar threads.
  • Scooo
It's weird how we have faced different issues. I had problems with the fingerprint scanner bein unresponsive, I used to have to tap twice often. But since A11 it had become amazing, like how it was when new.

That is something I won't understand why Asus hasn't done. The LED indicator color should change to indicate that the battery has charged to 100% or the set level, like something to green. It would be very helpful, and a lot of phone have it to be honest, even some cheap ash Chinese phones I've seen. I don't even see how…

Well, the device consumes extremely low power from the battery if it's left idle overnight while connected to WiFi anyway. Do you really need it to be on power saving mode overnight? But to answer the question, you will miss texts, yes.

Congratulations on having your phone restored to the original working condition! Can you please elaborate as to what the technicians said could have been the cause? Also describe the board you're talking about which was replaced, please! Thanks, Scooo.

Please stop suggesting everyone to visit nearest Asus centers, not all live near one. You suggested me the same but I had my issue solved with the help of some fellow ZF6 users. I'm glad I didn't just listen to you straight away. Also, please try not to post this message so early on as others who might want to help will be…

Some others as well are experiencing problems with 4G LTE. Some are stuck on 2G/3G while some have to switch to 2G to avoid frequent disconnection and reconnection. Although I personally have not found any issues with the network, I'm using and Indian variant as well, but am experiencing other bugs, I'm thinking it will…

I'm experiencing similar bugs as well, some which are different from yours that I'm experiencing are: 1. The keyboard overlaps the text boxes when switching to emojis, have to use back button to fix it. 2. Some swipes on the notification drop down area opens the app where the notification is coming from, happens 1 in 10…

Well messaging we don't even use much these days, similar feature on WhatsApp would've been good even if still in experimental stages. I wonder why apps like WhatsApp did not employ chat bubble feature like Messenger did a thousand years ago.

Thanks man, I wish I had tried a factory reset 2 months earlier, although I never really use the phone speaker to listen to music, it's important that I hear the phone ringing when I need to lol and the alarms should be loud enough to wake me up in the morning. Thanks again, Scooo.

Yes I was having audio issues. But it took me a long time to realise. The issues weren't present in the beginning but after a few patches, they were very prominent during November and December. 1. AudioWizard was lowering the volume by some 20% but it took me a long time to realise it, it was happening on headphones mostly…

It could be possible that your speaker is damaged, which may seem unlikely but is possible if you had set some insane configurations on power amp, however I highly doubt anyone uses their phone speakers enough that they could get damaged. In my case, the sound was extremely low but not distorted or muffled. Muffled sound…

What was the bug with AudioWizard? Was it not working at all or having negative effects on the audio outputs??

So, I was able to resolve the problem yesterday and to some extent I was becoming convinced that it is a hardware issue, however I was firm that its software. Here's what I did: Upgraded to A11, which did not work straightaway. Performed a Factory reset, which also did not work. After this factory reset though, I toggled…

So a quick update: There's some good news! I was never fully convinced that the problem is with the hardware, and it seems I was right. I upgraded to A11 in hopes of having the issue resolved but the problem persisted. So after a lot of hesitation, I performed a factory reset, the issue still persisted. I then went on to…

Well, I have tried it, it doesn't work. Also, the nearest Asus center is actually not near to my home and given my current schedule it is not going to be possible for me to visit it either. Moreover, I do not think that this is a hardware issue as the speaker does work loudly like for a few seconds, it just does not…
