  Good news I went into the store where I bought the phone and they just straight up replaced it. So much easier than sending it off.

  Okay thank you for your input it means a lot. I'm still gonna send the phone off to Asus just to make sure as I only got it in October and I plan to keep it for a long time so fixing anything now would be best

  Okay well I'm going to send it off to Asus so I can get it fixed hopefully they just give me a new device. I know opening the insides of these phones and putting them back together can be very annoying.
