Hi Blake, Thank you for your suggestions, I will try them this weekend. Note that all drivers are reinstalled a few times, but not necessarily in this order. Lets hope it works, and I will let you or others know -
At safe mode, screenpad remains off and special buttons do not work

Hi Blake, There is only one button that switches off the secon screen. The F6 key disables touchpad. And no, there is no other device connected. Are u affiliated with Asus support? Do you or anyone else have something to suggest? Thanks

Hi Blake, Sorry, I mean the one above the touchpad and only when turning screenpad completely off. Thanks for your response
