How to update manually if you are sick of waiting for the update to be pushed to your phone

Go to settings,, apps,,all apps,,show system,, Google framework services,, storage and cache clear cache tap back and tap force stop,back out then go to settings,, update and if there is an update tap it . This method works for all android phones it tricks the server into thinking that you have never updated or at least searched for an update . Handy if your impatient like me and can't wait for the latest updates to be pushed to your phone and is certainly easier than downloading the firmware and updating that way

doesnt always work. I have tried and after the restart there is no update notification.

Hi Roystoys
Thank you for your reply. Kindly try some stay-at-home troubleshooting tips below if you could not get the notification
1. Make sure the file is downloaded completely, you can try download from PC and put the file into the root directory, aka the outermost place, of the internal storage via USB cable.
2. Detach the USB cable after you put the file into the phone
3. Also, please try "the Factory Reset" 
Settings>System>Reset options>Erase all data(factory reset)
Please note that once the Factory Reset is completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted.
