Exactly mate. the Chinese version will always be cheaper than the global version due to tax importation and Chinese manufacture often missing global LTE bands and Multi language support.
For example here in UK, there's 5 LTE 4G bands. Majority of the time the Chinese variants will include 4 out 5, 4g bands and miss out the important one which is Band 20. Band 20 is a 800 MHz (basically if you don't know about frequency banding the lower the number the more stable your connection will be) if you go into rural areas ( such as the countryside) band 20 will allow the connection not to be as weak as such because 20 allows you to be far away from a phone mast and still recieve good connection it's also good if you live in area where there's lots of buildings. Plus Band 20 is not just used in UK it's used all across Europe.

It is very tempting to look on Alixpress, Gearbest etc and just order the Chinese version ( I myself have contemplated that) but when you're missing out on something that's very important there's no point buddy
