I called customer care in front of them and handover. They talked and accepted my phone without any mail.. they might have sent separately.
Today i went to ASC and they took my device and told me to call after two days..to check your device repair status.

Yes I got job sheet and they told me to call to the number provided to check the status. I called today many times but it's switched off.
I also got call from Asus call center and they told me that, they will follow up with them and get back by Monday.
I will try to visit service center on Monday.

I talked to call centers team only and mail chain with rc_india team.. they intern talk to development team to confirm whether this issue happened due to software update or not.

How long the whole process takes place? I mean when you handover your device to service center and then how much time it took to almost get back your device?

I am also facing the same issue with my Max PRO M2. Its barely 1.5 years old and now I stuck with this issue after warranty is expired. However, I gave it to Service center and now they are claiming the mother board is damaged. So the repair costs will be around 10 K. I regret buying this brand as there is no point in spending 10k for repairing 15k phone😡. I should have bought Samsung.
I am in Bangalore and there aren't much service centers for this brand. The service center is claiming that my mother board is damaged and needs to be changed. I doubt if they are dong this for money. So, let me know if the above steps can be performed in any other trustable service centers in Bangalore
No way. You need to follow up with Asus rc India or Asus service apac bro to get free of cost service. Before that service center should confirm its due to software update only. Otherwise they don't approve.
This offer will end by tomorrow. You need to be hurry. I had follow-up from past 2 months and now I am getting free service. Today I called service center and they confirmed that my phone is ready to collect. I am going to collect it by today 😁
Finally got my phone with new Motherboard and installed OS with 075 version. Thanks ASUS team.
Received new handset, with latest security patch, today. Only handset no other accessories however I am delighted that Asus took this step to keep the faith of users.
Thank you ASUS India I got my swapped handset of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 (Swap handset Device is totally new) against Hang on Asus logo after .073 March OTA firmware update. It took more than 3 months to replace the device which is too much frustrating.
I got only the device, no ther accessories or the Box.
Hope other users who are facing this same problem may get their handset repair asap.
