Please, add a option to request a password or fingerprint to power off the device, for security (gps locate - theft)!

The 15 second power off system is a failsafe for all androids. By all i mean by all and from starting they have been using this method if in case the device gets stuck which is logical and i think thats how device are built and is no way to remove that fail safe. I am not sure but if it is possible to remove that failsafe then it is a good option.

I think Android should have lock protection for Shut-down and Restarts. But when user uses force restart, using Volume and Power button, there should be a mechanism where device must restart directly, then asking authentication without leaving chance or ability to go into bootloader menu(only when force restart is made).

People can still format phones by connecting to a pc and loading adb loader to erase data.

No request has ever been taken into account. This is the company where community demands are of least importance. Better to go for an alternative next time......
