Phone software bugging after plugging in headphones.

Since today morning, whenever I plugged in my earphones in my Zenfone 5z, the volume shot up to full. Also, Google assistant started turning on automatically very frequently. Sometimes, the phone automatically stopped or paused playing any songs if I was playing them. Sometimes when I turned the volume down, it would still go up either instantaneoulsy or over a certain period of time.

This thing happens to me also and this is not a software problem. Clean your headphone jack at service center or any mobile service shop then it will work fine.
If your phone is within warranty period then go to any nearest Asus Service center.

Sir this is happening exactly same with me but with wireless Bluetooth earphones. Now what to do??? Repair bluetooth waves???
In your case factory data reset will help u fix ur problem try it once and if issue does not solve please let us know again 😊

Is everything okay if you downgrade to android 9?
😅Sorry, I didn't got a chance to check this issue while I was back on pie 2 weeks ago.... But I am pretty sure this didn't happened. Also,if you have tried any oneplus device ull be shocked to see... How the device manages bluetooth connection 😲. Whenever I reconnect my bluetooth headphones the sound litrally fades in to the level I left it on. I mean the music never starts resuming from the volume level we left it on after reconnecting. It fades in goes to that level ensuring our ears never would get hurt. 😍

Even 5z minimises the audio to half on my phone automatically whenever i connect bluetooth headset anytime
That I rectified with an app called "BLUETOOTH CONNECT AND PLAY" and the the volume to the desired limits.

Try to install latest firmware .87 and check if issue does exists?
Sahi hai phir but agar volume apne aap up-down ho rha while playing something, may be a motherboard issue. Check kara lo ek baar.
Well....mere cousin ke pass bhi hai.... 5Z 128gb.exactly same is troubling him😢.... He has bullets wireless z and is getting troubled. Says whenever music starts again it always does with 100%volume. But ab controlled hai with this app.Lekin kb tk aise chalega??

Good to hear u found out solution for yourselves but i can tell you my phone manages auto volume adjustments for some specific apps like singing app i.e. smule and i love that feature where 5z recognizes itself required output for specific apps also pubg behaves same AI on 5z works really great for me 😊
