Detailed description:I have had this notebook about two weeks. It is brand new with no changes or mods. I want the system to Hibernate , not sleep, so have switched this functionality on in Control panel. Every time I hibernate the system it gives me a BSOD on restart. I have contacted support who asked me to do a system restore. I have done this and the system behaves the same. So I am offered a repair! This is a brand new piece of kit!
I have to wonder why the hibernate option is switched off by default! Is there a known problem that is being covered up?
Does anyone else use hibernate and what are your experiences?
Cheers Jim

Hi @ivydene25
Please kindly check if your BIOS, Windows (1903/1909) is up to date, and let me know the version? Also kindly provide us the BSOD error message.
As for the hibernate option switched off by default, may I know where did you find this option?
Thanks!
