========================================
Observed some difference in splendid mode in A10
Troubleshooting:
Factory reset (via both Recovery Mode and Settings) to fix other issues.
Downgrade to Android 9 (via firmware.zip) to compare with Android 10.
Upgrade to each version of Android 10 (via both firmware.zip and FOTAService).

#1. Did you realized that Splendid standards have changed?
The temperature slider of Android 9 used to be:
Cold [blue side; blue tint]
Balanced [center; white]
Warm [red side; yellow tint]
On Android 10 it seems to be:
Balanced [blue side; white]
Warm [center; yellow tint]
Hot [red side; orange tint]

#2. Did you realized that the video playback sharpness gets worse when not using the next configuration?
Cold temperature [blue side; blue tint] (Not possible on Android 10, as mentioned above.)
Auto: OFF
Screen color optimisation: OFF

Is it a bug mods?? @CH_ASUS

I've tried this clip with both optimizations on and off, wide color gamut/standard/default without noticing any difference in sharpness

Your clip is HDR, it turns off Splendid optimizations while playing.
Try this:

The higher the brightness, worse the sharpness.
The warmer the temperature, worse the sharpness.
Auto ON = Warmer = Worse sharpness
Screen Color Optimization = Agressive anti-aliasing = Worse sharpness
Every this turned on = Better color but sharp as oil painting
On Android 10, we lost the cold temperature:

Cold [blue side; blue tint]
Balanced [center; white]
Warm [red side; yellow tint]
On Android 10 it seems to be:
Balanced [blue side; white]
Warm [center; yellow tint]
Hot [red side; orange tint]
This is my experience.

ok, I'm simply not seeing this lack of sharpness that you're talking about. Maybe you can make me understand with a screen recording?

It's hard to record, it's very "fine-tune" issue. Anyway, it's ok.
I would appreciate if you tweak temperature tuning back to what was in Android 9.

It would be nice if the color temperature is tuned on lines of android pie

Also the brightness is knowingly somewhat higher than that it was in pie. It's like it is not calibrated. Before the screen used to blur things in background (lets say when we open notification shade the home screen beneath or/and at the background got blurred ) now the screen no longer blurs but dims in somewhat case. It's just pike as There's a white tint on the screen.

Look at this grey kind of area just looks as if the darkers are more brighter/whitish now!!!
Peace.
