Volume in full screen games

I recently purchased the ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G14 14" Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9 and the volume keys work just fine until I start playing a full screen game. Suddenly the volume keys do absolutely nothing. I have to completely exit out of the game and guess what a suitable volume would be. I'm sure its something simple like FN+volume up keys(I tried already) but I can't figure it out please help!
P.s. I don't know if this is even where I'm supposed to post this but the my Asus app is hands down the most confusing thing I have ever tried to figure out..

May you name the games that you run into this issue, and record a video for us?
Does this happen to both speaker and headphone?

Model # is GA401IV-BR9N6
and I am new to gaming on a pc so I only own 1 game at the moment which is resident evil 3. It said my video was too long ill try to make 2 short ones

Thank you so much for the video.
I tried a few free full screen game, like Microsoft jigsaw, the volume key is working fine.
May you try as well? if only resident evil 3 has this issue, please let me know the version of it.
Also, when you are on full screen, is the sound working ? even though the volume is not working?
