Hi,
I would like to report a bug that removes bass from sound. Steps to reproduce it:
Every time i reboot phone and instantly (as fast as i can) start playing music - sound quality is perfect with full bass. After approximately five seconds of playing music - bass suddenly disappears, sound quality drops. Moreover it behaves the same for both bluetooth and jack audio.
It seems as if some additional equalizer settings are applied later in boot process - but i don't have any equalizer app installed on my phone.
Steps i took to resolve the issue:
Reset app settings
Tried safe mode - but there is no music player so doesn't count
Reset to factory settings
Therefore I would like to record and submit logs from my phone and fill a bug - can you please advise how can i do that.

this is definitely a software bug that is related to sound output not through built-in speakers but through headphones - therefore proposed solution would not help with this issue.

Okay......my loud speaker volume was very low even with stock oreo firmware and some popular custom roms......so I concluded that issue must be to do with hardware hence I suggested this.......
if you know how to unlock bootloader and flash a custom recovery I would suggest to try flashing stock oreo firmware and check if it solves the issue.........that would be the quickest solution......provided you already know how to unlock bootloader etc.

the latest 424 update description mentions fixing low frequency sound issue - I guess I am going to wait for that update

appreciate your providing update on that. I tried downloading and updating my firmware manually - unfortunately it didn't work.
I have Global version of ZB602KL Zenfone Max Pro M1 phone and I used indian version of Android 10 beta to update my firmware to WW-17.2017.2004.407.
Can you please advise if there is any way for me to update my firmware to global version from currently being on indian WW-17.2017.2004.407 ?

To make it clear, you would like to upgrade from WW-17.2017.1911.407 to WW-17.2017.2004.424, right?
Have you tried upgrading "manually" to this version but it failed?
If yes, compare to the "Manual Update" guide in "How to update firmware" I provided before, could you tell me the issue detail and the steps you perform? Have you facing any unexpected password key message, or have you receive any error message?
