HDR not working

System: Windows 10 pro
Battery or AC: Both
Model: UX362F
Frequency of occurrence: Always
Reset OS: No
Screenshot or video:
========================
I’ve been trying to output HDR video from my UX362F to my
Samsung UHD TV (UA55KS8000 with HDR10). I’ve updated graphics drivers and bios
(to 305), tried different high speed HDMI cables but it just won’t work.
DXdiag shows HDR not supported for the built-in screen, even
though Settings>Display>Windows HD Color settings>Display capabilities
shows Stream HD video = Yes (though apps, games and WCG apps = No). If I
connect the TV via HDMI, then settings shows Stream HD video = No for the Samsung.
With Intel UHD Graphics 620, HEVC and VP9 codecs, and WDDM
2.6 drivers installed, the UX362F should satisfy all requirements for HDR, so too the TV, which can receive HDR from other devices like my Android TV box.
Is there anything else I can try, or does the UX362F simply
not support HDR output to an external screen?

@peter.w.turner
only few intel processors with intel GPU supported with HDR 10 , so read the technical specifications of intel processor model that came with your laptop ok .
download the complete data sheets of your processor generation , read all the contents , then you will come to know the real truth

Hello Peter,
Which HDR video source were you trying to export?
I will ask our technical support to double confirm about it.
Thank you very much.

Intel UHD Graphics 620 supports HDR. Turns out the problem is ASUS hardware and they cheaped out on the HDMI. Maximum resolution is 4096 x 2160 @ 30hz because it's only HDMI 1.4 not HDMI 2.0, which is need for 60hz and HDR. The UX362F also has video output via the USB-C ports but only gen 1 and no Thunderbolt, so again no HDR or 60 hertz by the looks of it.
