Google Phone compatibility

Some of us are used to a Google phone from a previous devices. I used it on Nexus 5X and Xiaomi Mi A1. Would it be possible for Asus to ensure compatibility with this application?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.dialer
Explanation:
ZenUI ships without the Google dialer framework that is required to run the app.
Google Phone app requires to be within the /system partition:
com.google.android.dialer.support.xml
com.google.android.dialer.support.jar
As a workaround, we must use a patched app from XDA:

Yes. From A9 (iirc) Google disabled call recording for non-system/super-user apps.
I.e. call recording as "an app" is not allowed anymore - and I lbelieve the G Phone app also doesnt support that either (for Pixel devices) , yet .

But hey , Google Phone works now. 🙂

After update via OTA to the latest WW_17.1810.2003.145 I get this warning in Google Play Store for Google Phone:
This app isn't compatible with your device anymore. Contacts the developers for more info.
Even more, the application automatically uninstalled itself!
What the hell this is?
