I recently bought a unit and had the same problem...it was very disapointing... but after a BIOS upd ...
It was just for a few hours...it's doing the same right now. Is Asus doing something about this big problem?
Today I went to the store and changed the Asus for a Lenovo. ASUS should be ashamed of this. Asus did not make a statement or collected the equipments with the problem. This is a big no for any product of Asus from my side
Hey, i´ve got the same problem with my touchpad on my asus zenbook flip 14 um462ad. the mouse flips by moving around... the latest touchpad driver ist installed. i will try to install the bios update, hope it will fix the problem...
I claimed the store where I bought it. They sent the notebook back to Asus technical service (for the second time). The laptop returned again with the same problem.
I claimed the store with all the documentation, emails and videos I have, and luckily they have agreed to return my money.
Now I am enjoying an HP laptop that for now has no problems (I hope to be lucky this time).

Unfortunately it was good just for a few hours...the problem is still here. Is Asus doing something about it?
Hopefully, but I think it's a hardware problem
I am quite sure that there is no solution.
I recommend that you return the seller if you are still on time. If not, the only way to start a claim.
Hey there! Is the touchpad issue solved in the Zenbook flip 14 UM462DA?

Ok, thanks. I'm planning to buy the laptop. Don't know if it's worth the risk 🙄
For my Asus FX505 model it is not yet resolved.
I do not recommend buying an asus pc at this time. And if you want to buy it, unless it is in a store that accepts returns.
Regards,
Actually I had a dell inspiron 15R which had the same problem. I guess it's not manufacturer specific.
