System: Windows 10
Battery or AC: AC
Description: When trying to update bios to 315 i get an error that the bios file is invalid.
Model: UX461UA
Frequency of Occurrence: Always
Reset OS: No

I keep getting the same error while trying to update from version 312 to 315 I'm using winflash. I downloaded the file a couple of times. with the same result. It does read the correct information from the file. Also when i look up model number on the asus website it indicates it's suppose to have a 500gb ssd and a i7, but mine has an i5 with a 256gb ssd. What's up with that?

try update BIos manualy , extract the zip file , copy the bios file root of the pendrive / go to bios, disable secure boot , disable UEFI , enable CSM , save and exit . connect the ac power adapter , make sure at least 15% battery power . go to bios , insert pendrive , access EZ utility , choose the drive bios update ,select the BIOs file . click update , once complete restart the system . for more information read the user manul. I am using other model I updated bios file or downgraded file for five times in different scenes to find the bugs in files
