PubG is lagging and it's more

1. Nowadays pubG has started lagging heavily at hard drops in game .
2. If I turn on my screen recorder don't even ask about fps it drops like hell .
3. There was no proper gyroscope optimization until now which u guys said it would be fixed in future updates (thx).
4. Battery is not properly optimised there are too many drain issues which not only me but others are also facing .
I will ask u guys this question frankely what's the meaning of "GAMING PHONE" when it lags like all other phones (op7t, realmex2pro,Samsung S10........).
Is it because it has air triggers which I won't even use (6 finger user) or is it BCUZ of 120 hz display (mine always kept at 90 cuz there is not much difference from 90 hz to 120 hz except for battery drain).
U guys say it has 240 hz touch response which is not even usefull in pubG where there is always DESYNC happening.
U guys worked so much on other accessories instead of working on performance .
I will say this frankely "Apple won't even mention their phones as GAMING PHONES though they give top noch gaming performance in every gaming aspect .
I also heard on YouTube that u guys made a tie with ENTITY GAMING in INDIA . Did u guys see which devices they use " all members use iphone 11 or XR" infact all the competitive members use iphones . Check it 99% of COMPETATIVE players use iphones . Even if Apple won't say it I can easily say it as a GAMING PHONE . Their devices may have low mah battery , no headphone jack but for gamers what matters most is performance .
What I am trying to say is " IS ROG 2 A GAMING PHONE " cuz it has so much problems like an ordinary one plus phone .
Have u guys seen Nubia redmagic 3S it may suck in camera performance but it delivers perfect 60 fps even at hard drops it dosent lagg like Rog 2 does . If u guys won't trust me go check it out .
So what I am trying to say is insted of working on usless things pls work on performance as it is a gaming phone .

as for my final line "I am a big fan of ASUS ROG series cuz I have Rog motherboard and Asus Rog rtx 2060 graphics card " they deliver top noch performance for games ( CS: GO , Battlefield : Hardliners......) but I think u guys are spoiling name of ROG cuz of its normal performance as other devices deliver . Pls consider this.

This phone is not worth the price.

The positive aspects are main camera + airtriggers + audio.?

The wide angle camera expands the corners of the image and it looks weird ?

Other than that, this phone really sucks..

I was using Redmi since 2014 (1s thru N5pro), and moved to Asus because I wanted a Phone which has good software support.

After watching Dinesh Sharma's interview on trakin tech(YT), I was pretty confident that moving to Asus from Redmi will be good...

But the software on Asus is bad. I really don't care about updates if there isn't any change in performance.

+ I play PUBG @ balanced+med/high+ shadows off+ anti-aliasing off.. even at this setting the phone lags.. (net is fine)

+ The bottom USB port on my Device doesn't work most of the time. I'm pretty sure it's a software issue .

+ The OEM cable, charges the phone really slow. I borrowed a usb-c cable of honor play, and now my phone is charging faster.

If anyone from you knows any developer here.. please tag them/him.

The USB charging issue is something that we could fix if I just manage to find someone with an actual problem. I've collected several logs but the users I spoke to either stopped replying when I asked for more logs, or they found out that it was actually a damaged cable.
Sounds in your case like you need a new cable. I don't know the warranty in your country for the cable but I would take to our support if I were you.
PUBG is very hard to fix because it's hard to find where the issue lies. So far no user has been able to show me that here, when doing this, the game lags, every time. Instead they reply, "no wait, it's fixed now" or they just stop replying. It's generally known that PUBG has performance issues with all Android phones, so it's very hard to find any consistency in the lag which we can fix.

I agree with all points except 5th . Lol for only 2+ hours u say 59 fps . I play more than 10+ hrs a day it laggs like hell when there are enemies even on smooth and extreme. I prefer balenced / extreme graphics cuz it's Snapdragon 855+ processor but it's verrry laggy on that . Now I am limited to low graphics.

Have you tried reinstalling PUBG? I'm still waiting for someone to show me where it lags.

I don't know what I'm supposed to look for? Do you mean the stuttering? If yes, then It's probably because you run in 120Hz and the screen recorder doesn't support that.

SRRY I forgot above question it laggs when we land on pochinki , georgepool , novo like where min 2 squads will come . It lags when there are enemy's near the place . Even when taking car gunfights it's laggy . When there are no enemy's it will become butter smooth. This is all I can say by explanation . Hope u can discover any problems 🙂

Ok.
1. Unless you are a streamer or a pro player for a huge roster ,playing more than 6hrs seems very odd and I am being serious 10hrs mobile gaming is definitely not good.And again I am not sure about how you are able to find 10hrs?
2. Also I can assure that smooth + extreme + antialiasing is more demanding than balanced +extreme alone. Also what is the peak temp of your device.
3. Also any phone say even the iPhone lags when you have 4+squads + and a decent amount of smokes. Now please don't tell me that op7 does not lag because I can easily link you a video of op7 lagging (out of the many instances I have watched it lag ) whenever you ask to
And if you still have plans to play the game 10+hrs( which is weird) you def have to buy an aeroactive cooler.
