VoWifi rollout Jio and Airtel - India [Threads Merged]

Jio and Airtel, 2 Major network providers in India have started rolling out VoWifi Services for subscribers. Almost All Major Brands and devices Support VoWifi. But Asus is missing from compatible devices. Basically, in India the Network reception indoors is poor and VoWifi will be a great addition to have. Any Possibility of this being enabled via future updates?

Even I dont understand this response got from Asus technical support. I have enabled wifi calling with code given in this forum and using for Jio but need to enable after restart. When I enquired for permanent solution with Asus and for Airtel, the response i got is they dont have any idea of rolling out in future, as it dont support. If you still have doubt, you can just raise a complaint and see the response.

I can tell you that this has nothing to do with hardware. Strictly software and agreements between ASUS and the carriers. The technician you spoke to probably just wanted you to stop asking about something that doesn't currently have any solution. It was wrong of this technician to make a false statement. The truth is that we currently don't know if there will be support. Time will tell

Why do we have to always compromise ? I never expected such after sale services from a beast phone like Rog 2.

Yes understood that because wifi calling works for me with temporary code on Jio. But when can we expect permanent solution and wifi calling with all service providers. When Asus can create hype/false marketing for mobile, why cant they do something to improve customer service and support. No updates on latest features and A10. No wonder they cant grow in market.

I done a mistake of moving to Asus from Oneplus. Might be most of them regret the same. Beast etc.. all are just hype created. ROG 2 is little better for gaming and battery but nothing else. It lack most of the thing that basic android mobile has. No support and no updates. Even I was thinking of selling for low price and move to better mobile that has current technology.

I shifted from samsung to Asus , was going for one plus but looking at the specs ,I was more into this than any other smartphone every used but u didn't knew that this is their services and support , I had S10plus (earlier s9plus) even s9plus had the wifi calling option 1 year before this wifi calling was introduced . I think you are right it's just little better nothing else , I should have gone for one plus atleast i dnt have to compromise for camera as I did here for features and performance but was not worth , will go for one plus 8 for sure , also they keep on updating their phones regularly what if they can perform like Rog 2 but atleast their performance is getting enhanced day by day and maybe become better someday? Still no A10 even after 2 months , thankyou Asus for making me realise my mistake.
