Hello
Bug with Google pay. Can't pay via app.
Cert play protect is correct, safetynet passed.
@Anders_ASUS what is wrong?
After upgrade A9->A10 (v110) was same trouble, but 1-2 days and gone, now not.
Some users encountered this situation, reinstalled Google Pay and it worked normally after restarting the phone.
Hello!
There are several posts in this forum saying that you should delete and reinstall Google pay. It should solve the problem.
I can't delete it. Only turn off and force stop
Unfortunately without success.
Any other option?
1. Confirm the software version (the latest version is 17.1810.2001.119), long press Google pay icon-> version information (the latest version is 2.104.286073543)
2. Confirm that the default payment is Google Pay "Settings-> Apps & Notifications-> Special App Access-> Tap & Pay-> Default Payment App-> Google Pay"
3. Exclude SmartLock
"Settings-> Security and Lock Screen-> Smart Lock"
-Turn off "Human Sensing"
-Remove all "trusted locations"
4. Exclude screen timeout "Settings-> Display-> Sleep-> Never"
5. Confirmation of passing Google Safetynet test Download and execute "SafetyNet Test" from Google play
6. If you still can't sense after confirming through the above steps, please mark the moderator recording log to confirm your problem.
@LP_ASUS ,@Anders_ASUS

Ad1 - Yeap - I confirm that.
Ad2 - confirm

Ad4 - screen is on when I've turn manually NFC and try to pay.
Ad4 - passed

Hi,
I have the same bug. I did everything above and also restored the device to factory settings.
Unfortunately, after starting the device, the initial configuration, I can't now assign the card to the device. Information about the root or certificate.
Forgive me for not having screenshots. I'm just installing the previous version of the system.

What if downgrading to android 9? Will it improve?
Please remember that previous version of android 10 (v.110) was OK (nfc).
Sth going wrong after flashing v110->v119.
Btw, how to get downgrading files? Or it's same like installing manually upgrade from zip? In this case download older version (e.g. v110) and save it on main folder flash memory than reboot and next steps goes automatic?
Same topic, same bug.
Downgrading will erase the data. If you need to downgrade, download the downgraded firmware from ASUS website. It will be downgraded to android 9.194, you can choose to upgrade to any version of android 10.

Ok, so it's not convenient way to solve the problem, still keep cross fingers for Asus Team to solve it without downgrading.
Because mosiu24 mentioned that it has tried restoring factory settings. So I suggest he can try downgrading.
After uninstall and update from Play Store, it seemd to be ok, but today I had this message again
Yes, i restored phone. Due to the fact that I had a clean phone, I decided to downgrade (UL-ASUS_I01WD-ASUS-18.1220.1909.194-1.1.1-user.zip) and update to .110
After Wipe data/factory reset from recovery at A10 v.119 still have trouble with google pay - can't pay
@Anders_ASUS , @LP_ASUS , @Kris_ASUS, @Titan_ASUS , @Laura_ASUS
so.. only next step is downgrade to A9 and next upgrade to A10 v.110?? Really? Have No idea to solve it?
When I'm scrolling main page of Zenfone6 Community think that last update was to early, too many bugs... too many Asus, it's Your Flagship.
How did you update to 119? Manual or OTA?
Well finally I've downgrade to A9 and return to A10 (17.1810.1911.110).
NFC works.
