Swipe-up gesture navigation bug after .110 update

Swipe-up gesture navigation is not working properly. If I have the keyboard open then it will automatically click the key above back button when I use the gesture. If I use back gesture in Stellio Music Player, it will try to expand what's being played instead of exiting the app. Screen recording attached. @CH_ASUS please report this bug.

Maybe it's because of the launcher.
It has nothing to do with the launcher. They have fixed gestures in one-hand mode and messed up this one.
With my experience I had this gesture issue with some launcher. Did you try checking gesture without launcher.
I am using nova launcher and I have checked with the Asus launcher as well. The issue is still there. Everything was fine until I updated to .110. @CH_ASUS please report this bug.

I'm using Nova Launcher. Google 'at a glance' widget under the dock and Linebox iconpack. Just added a few icons on top as well.
I'm experiencing this too, it's really bad. I usually use swipe-up navigation but this bug just makes it too irritating because I always end up accidentally typing a stray character when switching away from my messaging app. Please fix it, Asus!

So many people have reported the same bug, but there is no acknowledgement from Asus side. Unless the bug is reported, developers are not going to fix it.

Unrelated to gboard. We can also reproduce it. Have notified the developers.
In the meantime, switch to Android 10 Gesture navigations, which does not have this issue.
I'm using GBoard, it's not related to any specific keyboard app. Please check the video that I have attached in OP, swipe gesture for going back won't work most of the time while I'm using Stellio Player. The bug started after developers fixed swipe gesture in one handed mode .110 update.
Has this bug report been sent to developers yet? Back swipe is so annoying now. Please fix this.
Experiencing the same bug with the swipe up gesture. I'll keep using it while waiting for the update, because the swipe up gesture is by far much better than Google's.

Can we get more detailed patch/update notes? I managed to get the notice for the FOTA, but reading the notes from the above link it makes it sound like I can't/shouldn't and need to downgrade first. Can anyone advise?

You misunderstood it.
If you have at least WW_16.1220.1909.194 you can easily update to WW_17.1810.2001.119.
