Whenever i take photos at night in the artificial lighting (in the tubelight lighting) using 48 MP (In my Asus 6z)......the image processing tends to blacken the picture. How to get over this ? Please help !
When you take photos under tubelight lighting, it is normal that the metering is selected in tubelight lighting, and the photos will be black. If you want to take brighter photos, you can use Pro mode or change the metering position.
Thanks @KiKoly for the quick response ! I'll try and get back to you !
The first picture was taken using normal 48 mp cam....
The second pic with the pro camera option using 48 MP.
The third picture was taken after manipulating the iso...af and others.
The clarity as you can see is horrible ! This really gets me worried. The resolution of the above pictures is worser than 12 mp though it was shot in 48 MP.
I am worried if my camera/processor is faulty ! Please guide !
The photos in the outdoor conditions are exceptional !
But the pictures taken in the indoor or artificial conditions are becoming blackened. Please guide !
ZenFone 6's 12MP is indeed the best shooting resolution. In 48MP Pro mode, try to adjust the shutter and ISO values, if necessary, with the camera tripod.
Ok. Thanks !
Completely agree with kikoly
@Anders_ASUS said that 48mp isn't good in artificial lighting, so he preferred me to set it to 12mp as default, and to change it to 48mp when necessary.
Under artificial lighting, if you want to have good photos, depending on your artificial lighting quality, angle, brightness, etc., different parameters will have different results.
48MP works badly in low light as each individual pixel size is small.
The sensors from SONY are designed to work best in 12MP , where 4 pixels are combined for color data.
48MP is generally only suitable/recommended in bright daylight - as you need a lot of light (to counter the small individual pixel size) but also fast shutter speeds to counter the longer processing time. Keep in mind the ZenFone 6 does not have OIS.
