Is this much SoT with 60hz and power saver normal?

I used 60hz almost the entire time and had power saver on. I played asphalt 9 at 60fps on performance settings (Without X mode on) for around 45 minutes but that's about all the gaming I did. Is this normal? Cuz I heard some people saying they were getting 9+ hours.

No it's not normal. I play Asphalt 9 on all performance settings set to max and refresh rate 90Hz, as the phone can actually get up to 64fps from the game. I can play up to 5 hours and do other things on a single charge.
No, its not. So far as per my experience with ROG 2, software is not properly optimized. Without gaming at 90hz I get around 9hrs of SOT, which most other 4000mAh phones do. Asus software is simply sh#t!.
Oh wow... Is there any way to get better battery life then on my phone?
I did nothing special. Played around with settings in Battery department. Tried to select battery saving options the best I could. X mode active only while gaming, screen default set to 120Hz.
Hmm okay. Wonder if they'll improve battery life with the android 10 update cuz if phones with 4000mah batterys are getting more SOT, asus REALLY needs to up their game.
Get rid of duo... It used almost the same amount of battery as 8 hours of screen time...
I use duo for video calling. And I really don't think 21% is 8 hours of SoT
SOT used 24% of your battery... Duo used 21% of your battery...
Maybe it uses so much cuz the camera is also on. But even after using an hour or so of duo I expected better battery life
I did another run but with 120hz mode and without power saver (i only switched to 60hz when i was on a duo call) and i didn't game at all this time other than candy crush
This to me looks now better. Over 8 hours screen time. But it's not as good as what I get.
Oh wow 5+ hours of SoT with 2+ hours of asphalt 9 on 35% battery. Any idea why I'm getting worse SoT than you, even when I didn't gaming at all?
Sorry no idea! But my phone is free from all kinds of problems reported in this forum. In fact I only have a little red hue and it doesn't support VoLTE in my country. Everything else is great. I don't understand why all users don't have the same experience.
I notice though. When taking the phone out of the box, I strictly followed the procedure on formatting the battery explained in the printed manual. I didn't use the phone at all before doing it.
Not always necessary but I think his device isn't reporting the true battery level...
I am not sure how to fix that either...
Formatting the battery? Hmm I didn't really read anything like that, i just booted it up and start setting everything up and using it normally.
That could be the case, yeah. Hopefully a mod replies to this discussion so they can maybe help me out
Yea maybe a battery calibration ?
Maybe, but no clue how to do it lol
On the Asus website there is a manual in pdf. On the first pages you have a description how to calibrate the battery. This is a short manual and normally when I buy a new product I always read documentation first.
