PS4 controller paired and connected with Bluetooth but it does nothing.. no response.. tried in game,in andoid menu...
Controller works with other phones instantly but on this phone no response after connect.. stupid rog 2

It works for me over Bluetooth for the games I use (GTA mobile games). If you are referring to specifically PS4 remote play, it requires Android 10 to use a DS4 controller.

Not remote play.... Controller for basic things... It doesn't work I have tried codm,Minecraft, and game controller test app... It doesn't work at all just pairs and does nothing.. controller is working on my other phone and tablet.. I even tried with gta bully game..

Hmm, have you tried clearing your Bluetooth cache and repairing the controller? If it still does not see if the controller will work with an OTA cable this will help confirm that it is a Bluetooth issue.

It only works with otg cable but with Bluetooth doesn't work
An HDMI splitter usually removes HDCP. Some capture cards also have an option to disable it.
My AVerMedia one does.
I managed to make the track pad of the remote work by connecting it to the phone via a wire. but still the mapping option doesnt show up when i play the game. i can use the ps4 remote like a trackpad though
Afaik android 10 brought proper controller support so wait for it imo

I have no problem getting it to work via BT and with games that support the PS4 controller but there's an error message in PS4 Remote Play that we're investigating.
So you can't navigate on the homescreen using the thumbstick or d-pad? Have you tried a game like oddmar (which supports ps4 controller)?
You have to wait for Android Q. The PS4 controller works with ZenFone 6 so I can assure you it will work with ROG Phone II after the update.
any idea about when will the update will come? I just got Rog phone II last night and a bit disappointing that it doesn't support dual shock 4.
Any updates for this? I bought this phone for replacement of my PS4 console but cant pair with PS4 controller and the Rog Kunai Pad is not in stock...... Zzzzzzzz plz ASUS hurry up, this is supposed to be the flagship. My first ASUS phone but this is not a good sign
Yes I have dualshock 4 version 1 and it pairs with Bluetooth but doesn't work .. it works when connected with otg. Thos controller working on my other 2 phones with Android 9. I have tried clearing Bluetooth cache and many things.
Android 10 the controller works just fine i used it with PS4 Remote Play not sure with the other games tho.
