My fingerprint background light stays on sometimes?

Hi.
Sometimes when I unlock the phone my fingerprint background light stays on after unlock. Only way to shut it down is to hit the power button and lock again. I think the error happens when it starts to use the fingerprint sensor and suddenly uses face recognition. It's like if the fsensor doesn't understand that the phone is unlocked by my uggly face..

It can of course be some other reason/bug when it stays lit. Anyone else experience this?

I'm am talking about the bright background light when you put your finger on the reader. NOT the icon that looks like a fingerprint.
Anyway I tried the steps and the icon is still there so ONE MORE bugg..
For clarity, can you provide a video from another device of what is going on? You're saying that when you try to unlock the phone, the fingerprint icon doesn't linger, but the light does? On an unlocked screen?
Exactly! The icon works perfectly and unlock by finger or face works perfectly not sure which one does the job when I get the bugg. Once the phone is in unlocked screen the background bright fingerprint light stays on.
I can't reproduce the issue it just happens now and then. If you really need a video you will have to wait.
The other thing you posted does not work at all for my fingerprint icon not even after reboot it's always there. Not a problem for me I like the icon...
I'm facing this problem too... It's definitely a bug !

Devs look up to it. It got removed after a reboot
We're aware and are checking into it. If it happens again, we can log your phone to try and get a better idea of what's going on.
Can you recreate it reliably? If so, I'd like to log your phone to see what's happening. Let me know if that sounds alright to you.

Yesterday was the first time it happened with me in 15 days if usages. If it occurs again I'll definitely post a video about it.
This is a known issue. I had reported this longtime back with screenshots.
Just to be CLEAR my problem is ONLY the bright background light NOT the finger print icon.

Hi all, I meant to also include that we'd like to log your phones. It will see everything on your phone, so if you're not comfortable with that we understand. But it will help our R&D team track down the issue.
