ROG Phone 1 .... abandoned .... should expect the same for ROG 2

I know this is the wrong forum, but your entire user base of your first phone feels abandoned. First you said Q3, then you said end of October. We are still running a 2 year old OS on a phone that cost us 900+ USD. What gives? What the hell are you doing , ASUS ? Customer loyalty and support can go to hell, this is what your attitude tells us. Absolutely horrendous 'flagship' experience.
NEVER again. Hell, Im staying away from your computer stuff too.

This is incorrect. The ROG Phone II is on track to receive Android 10 shortly.

I understand both your and OP's frustrations. We're doing everything we can to deliver you the updates you have been waiting for as quickly as possible. In a perfect world we would have delivered this in Q3 as we targeted, but we missed that mark.

Android Pie is coming soon to the ROG Phone. We have seen delays and would've preferred to have it available earlier, but it is on the way.

You guys have been giving us this lollipop for almost a year now. Forgive me if I call BS on whatever you are saying.

Edit: I'm done being apologetic. I paid good money for something that has utterly been abandoned by its manufacturer, who refuses to address the problem at hand. Fair is fair. Also, I have pushed at least a hundred students here (all tech nerds like myself) from buying the ROG II. This will spread, you'll see. Again, fair is fair.

Edit : even GSMArena thinks Android Pie will never come to the ROG Phone.
