Bluetooth has suddenly and mysteriously vanished. I've tried a number of the fixes found on the net to no avail. I'm to the point of reinstalling the Bluetooth driver to see if that does the trick but I can't find it anywhere online, not even on the Asus site. Can someone point me in the right direction or offer a suggestion?

If you have MyAsus app in your laptop, you can click on Customer Support, then "LiveUpdate", click "Lastest", then uncheck "show the version updates available". You will see all app and drivers that directly fit to your laptop.
You can download all into your usb and use it in case of having a problem like this case.
If you alread made a restore drive, you can recover your laptop from that drive.

So, get this...
Earlier today I fired up the machine and, of course, there's no Bluetooth. I checked a bunch of sites which I do daily. Couldn't spend a lot of time due to the length of my "Honey Do List." Spent all of the morning on the list and finally got time to mess with the missing Bluetooth. Rolled on to this site to reread your post and make sure I knew what I was going to try. While reading your post I glanced down at the bottom right corner and, low and behold, there's the Bluetooth icon on the Task Bar just where it always was. I'm not aware of doing anything different so I have no idea why it comes and goes. It's unnerving. Anyway, I'm going to keep your suggestions just in case there's a next time. Do know that I am most grateful for your help.
