My voice sounds like the signal is klipped (amplified to much) when making a phone call

When talking in a phone call, the "other party" complains that my voice sonds robotic and much to sharp.
Like the signal is amplified to much. Regularly my voice is muted and people start asking whether I'm still there.
Can the microphone amplification be adapted ?
I'm using : Android 12
31.1010.0411.122

Problem seems to be solved.
I dialed *#*#3642623344#*#* in the dialer and disabled "bellen via wifi" (VoWifi) in the Internet.Sim options and now I don't get complaints about my voice quality anymore
