Not receiving OTP messages

@asus team,. We have serious issue with latest update. Not receiving all the SMS in the phone especially OTP messages. I even tried with many sms app and the issue exist. Now a days all app uses OTP for login and transaction. We need a fix soon as I'm not able to bank transactions. You can reproduce it by generating OTP messages.
Teams, it is very serious issue so I need a fix soon.

I had this issue when after I factory reset my phone. But after I updated the messages app from Google store and restart the phone it's working properly for me now.
Nope tried that but did not fix my issue, I am still not receiving OTP and money deducted message. I am facing this after the new update, earlier I did not faced this issue.
Nope. I still have the issue. I guess, issue is not related to SMS apps, it is something at OS level. Because, I tried multiple messaging app like Microsoft SMS, Textra but nothing helped.
Did you allow auto running of Microsoft sms app from auto start manager? I was facing same issue after allowing the app in autostart manager it works fine now...
Settings> battery > power master> auto start manager
It is not a sms app issue.
Yes bro, it is already in my allowed list. I guess it should work for inbuilt sms app first. Seems issue with OS and not with any apps.
Try disabling Dual SIM 4G and restart your phone. I've had a couple of comments here in the forum where users mention they had SMS issues when this option is enabled.

Yes. I have it disabled. @Anders_ASUS are you saying that we should have Dual Sim 4G enabled when we have dual sims?
Seems weird i have dual 4g sim dual volte enabled...sms manager app works flawlessly...app notification are instant
I cannot disable Dual SIm 4g because I need both the SIM to work on 4G, in India Jio only works on 4G if I disable it my SIM will not work. Also please provide permanent solution instead of suggesting workarounds which disables a functionality of the phone.
Same here as I use two 4G sims. So I cannot disabled it for long. @asus @anderlai57 @Anders_ASUS we need a fix this issue soon because OTP is very important for all applications
allow auto running of Microsoft sms app from auto start manager. this helped me to get SMS and OTP without any issues
Didn't work for me.
I have been using Microsoft SMS for long time now and I uninstalled it today. Seems, OTP messages is working fine with native sms app for me.
Change default sim for sms in setting. It solved my OTP issue.
I'm using only one sim. Do you still want to default sim?
