Sept 15th 2022 Android 12 Patch killed mobile data

I'd finally gotten Android 12 to the point where it was nearly stable and livable, and then the security patch yesterday completely hosed mobile data. WiFi still works. I've tried most of the tricks - restarting, resetting the network , resetting the entire phone, no joy. Anyone else fighting this? Any suggestions?

Just a follow-up on downgrading:
tl;dr: Downgrading to Android 11 didn't fix it.
I was able to get Android 11 installed following the instructions on Asus's Android 12 beta page. (Sorry, I can't post links yet but Google finds it if you search for Asus Zenfone 8 Android 12 Developer Preview Program. On that page, scroll down to "How to opt-out and revert back to Android 11".)
The resulting system version is: WW_30.11.51.115. Unfortunately, this did not fix mobile service. In case it's relevant, the baseband version is now M3.13.24.45-Sake_0000110.
I would like to try rebooting, removing/reinstalling the SIM, etc. under this version, but the phone immediately downloaded an update (WW_user_30.12.112.82) and rebooting installed that update. At that point I turned off automatic updates lol. Baseband version is now M3.13.24.55-Sake_0000110.
So at this point I tried all the usual things (remove and reinstall SIM, network reset, factory reset, etc.), but I still have no mobile network.

@keren_ASUS
Here it is.
1) 31.1010.0411.122
2) USA
3) AT&T
Phone calls and SMS work, mobile data does not.

Pace @smammy , renaming the Android 11 downgrade package from UL-I006D-ASUS-99.1004.0404.82-1.1.31-9999-user to UL-ASUS_I006D-ASUS-99.1004.0404.82-1.1.31-9999-user allows the operating system to identify it as a system file.
I prevented the instant upgrade by turning off WiFI and pulling the SIM before launching the upgrade, which let me turn off automatic updates in settings before connecting to the internet.
Like smammy, this did not repair mobile data. I have a business trip tomorrow, so it was worth seeing if I could get a different result.

@ataylor thanks for testing and I'm glad it's not just me who went through the whole process to no avail. Fingers crossed that Asus will have something for us soon!
