Detailed description:I bought a 2TB nveme external sandisk extreme pro with claims that the read/write can go until 2000 mp/s. I tried in many way to get that speed and after searching for info on Google, this sandisk model needs a usb 3.2 gen 2. Before buying that, I checked that my zenbook duo 14 pro ux8402ze has that usb 3.2 gen 2. But the speed test is limited only around 1000 mps.
How can I solve this problem?

From the attached picture, I have tried to find out what gen of the USB 3.2. But I cannot determine if it is gen 2 or not. For now, I connect my 2TB sandisk extreme pro directly to the USB port type A (for my model, only this port). Sandisk continue to read and write only as a 1000 mb/s... not a 2000 mb/s one.

Sandisk extreme Pro v2 is for USB 3.2 gen 2x2!
I don't know which brand provides this port until now.
I did forget to check for the port connection. I presumed that my UX8402 with 2 thunderbolt 4 ports must work with this external drive!
