I am unable to connect to a monitor using the type C connection. The monitor and cable has been tested on another computer without any problem.

I am curious and if I wanna to get a new monitor, your problem can help me choice a correct one!

its the LG Gram +view 16" portable monitor with Type-C interface.
Works well with my other computer which is 3 years old.

its not a bad screen, and portable. it worked good on my other computer, Its light and almost felt flimpsy. but with the protective cover I think it works pretty good. its only got type C output.
