SSD Upgrade of Asus n551jw

Hello, this is my first time in the Asus forums, so I hope I am asking my question in the correct subforum.
I am considering to buy Asus n551jw. It has a 2 tb HDD, but I want an SSD. What kind of SSD can I intall it? As far as I know, the most speedy ones are NVME SSDs. What would you suggest me?

The n551jw is a laptop from many years ago, it doesn't have the SSD slot.

It can only install a normal SATA hard drive.
