Phone crashing when plugging earphone

Everytime I plug in my earphone in my ROG 5, all applications freeze. Even system UI stops responding. After 1 min the logo appears on the screen and stay like that for about 20min. At this point nothing works except for a hard reset.
If I wait it out, the phone restarts after the 20min and I get the prompt whether to start android normally or in safe mode. When I select normally, the phone starts normal and everything become good.
The issue appears again when I plug in an earphone.
One time when I hard reset it during the issue, it said that the android is corrupt.
