ZenWIFI Compatibility between XD4 & XT8

Hi
I'm using two XT8 in aiMesh setup - and it works so far great. Now I would like to extend my setup by one XD4 device. Can XD4 be integrated into XT8 aiMesh? And would it have an impact on performance?
