Detailed description My screen is black. Laptop seems to be working well with an external monitor. I checked the display settings as recommended on Asus web page, and still monitor is black

Thank you for your response! The BIOS seems to work fine when connected to an external monitor. The screen on the laptop remains black

is your laptop monitor displays letters and graphics in bios ?

if possible remove RAM module and clean gold paths with an white pencil eraser and put it back and recheck monitor.

Thank you for your response! The laptop monitor doesn't display anything. When I plug in the laptop to an external monitor, everything works just fine.

If the laptop is connected to the external monitor and can display normally, there may be a problem with the screen cable of the laptop itself. I would suggest you bring back your laptop to our service center.
