Asus begins rolling out update for Rog Phone 5 and 5S to Android 12
No details yet, just the version number, sorry
As the batch distribution can be long, it will allow you to know that there is one in progress and to download it when Asus puts it on the download, which is not done yet, the latest Firmware is always .77 on Asus sites.
I advise you to turn off your phone and turn it back on before updating when you receive the notification (count between 5 and 10 days I think)

I'm still on A11 .229. Excellent battery life, no heating, UI is smooth & Speakers sound solid

Me too, Android 11 but in .231, which should have made a correction for the load in PD/PPS and which is not done.
No difference or correction found between .229 and .231
4g/4g+/5g mobile data cut, usb-c low PD/PPS, QTI.com service, non-erasable application cache in the pro profile (twin-app) it's bug are still there and present in the 2 firmwares.
To see and follow the comments of Android 12 and the speed of corrections by Asus, I think I will stay there while waiting for Android 13, praying hard it might work :)
I'm on .77 A12..... Way too Much Overheating + Way to Many Frame drops as Compared to Other 888+ Devices..... Rog 5/5s worked fine till December. For some users..... Others Got Wifi issues.

I got a network signal issue.. simcard were detected but there's no signal received 😭😭

Hahahahhaa so correct there is nothing fixed in this update ..... Same bad performance and tomorrow i will take my phone to warranty this is not normal and if the warranty dont fix this i will send it again every time just dont care !!!!! I am so disappointed just look the antutu test the work of the procesor i so bad ,the other problem is when the phone reach 39C the small cores start working at 1.2ghz i try to factory reset the phone also to fowngrade to andoid 11 and in every single update after this to android 12 again this problem stay i get 39C and small cores start work at 1.2 GHZ .... Also after every test i wait 20-30 minute to cool down the phone and after this start other tests whit cooled phone
When i play apex mobile or codm or mobile legends or other games FPS is so unstable and i write a lot of times in this forum but there is no help so very soon i will exit from this forum sell this phone and never buy again something like this
Must say that you don't put goodwill into it, do like me, custom hard core setting and play in a cold room, those of fresh fruit are well +3° and no condensation with controlled humidity 😁

Latest update caused my Aero Active Cooler 5 to malfunction. The fan stopped spinning but it's lighting is working. Please fix.
