Bluetooth malware
Hello,
I have a Zenfone 8 and I am very happy with it.
Recently, a scan using AVG antivirus is telling me that I have malware in my Bluetooth app. My Bluetooth is hardly ever used apart from when I use my earbuds. Having read what they say it appears that the malware is in a system partition and cannot be removed. Can anyone advise what I can or need to do?
Thanks,
Ian

@Iand Hopefully just a false positive, but we should definitely err on the side of caution. I'll send you a PM here on Zentalk with some follow-up questions regarding your device.
For others finding this thread: If you also have problems with AVG flagging the Bluetooth system app, please let me know.
@Gustav_ASUS
Yesterday Avast mobile Security reported the same problem on my ZF 8.
@th.besch Thanks. Sending you a PM as well.
@Iand AVG should have provided a fix, please run the scan again and see if Bluetooth gets flagged.
I've just run a scan and it's fine. The issue has gone.
Thanks for your help 👍
