Detailed description: Screenpad 2.0 only functions as a second monitor, not as a trackpad. Installed and reinstalled all possible drivers linked to the laptop on the support page. Asus ScreenXpert Optimiser returns error code 0x00000010 and crashes. The trackpad device does not show up on windows device manager or any other way of displaying devices, therefore cannot be accessed by any windows troubleshooting methods. The function key for swapping touchpad mode displayed "Touchpad disabled" until the OS was reset, at which point nothing happens when it is pressed.
This did not start after doing updates, just randomly happened.
It is the same issue that happened to user "cyberfunkua" in May 2021, which was unresolved by the moderators despite clear information being provided by him. (https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/48272/zen-435eg-screenpad-is-working-as-second-monitor-only)

Hello, it's seems a problem with connection cable. I've had that problem twice. First time screenpad didn't work as monitor (https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/48272/zen-435eg-screenpad-is-working-as-second-monitor-only) and second time as touchpad. There is no reason to try resolve issue with drivers or other OS settings. You need to send your devices to service center to replace broken part.
