the strange thing i forgot to mention is that while playing everything is fine! no stuttering or lag!!
Hi there,
Does the issue happen when the laptop is not connected to the external monitor?
Thank you.
wait something has updated on windows and i don't get anymore stuttering... i will update here
I am experimenting the problem again. I used it without second monitor for some time and seems the problem is not present.
I think the issue is when i plug monitor with HDMI...
i am still using without monitor in order to check if problem persist
The main issue is the Stuttering with Audio distorted for 1 second for example playing youtube for a while
Update: i have got the issue also without external monitor
I think the problem is related to the power plan misconfigured or similar
because when i am playing everything is perfect.
And when i play the plan switch automatically from Asus advised to High performance
I used a screen capture video on my windows10 in order to capture the freezing/stuttering (specially audio)
and when it happened i stopped the video and tried to watch it.
The result is that the video was perfect without stuttering audio or audio distorted.
I was using also Quick Cpu and in the same time of the stuttering CPU chart is stable.
What do you think?
It's about AMD fTPM. TPM 2.0 firmware in the cpu cause this. After the launch of Win 11, many more users suffer from this. Solution is disabling TPM from bios.
The unresolved stuttering issue from TUF A15 laptops also caused by this. There are many discussions about it.
If ASUS can't do anything about it, at least put TPM setting in bios if it's not there. (In TUF A15 this setting is hidden and TPM is on by default.)
How to reproduce?
I want to put some links (youtube videos of stuttering, discussions about the problem etc.) but i'm level 1 member. Please take this problem seriously. It's real.
It's because when stuttering occurs everything freezes, not only game or audio. Everything become slower, even the screen recording software. So it records slowly, but after the phenomenon was gone, you can watch the record without any stutter. It's the same reason we can't find anything wrong when we look at the event viewer. The cause of stuttering is beyond the OS. And the cause is fTPM.
If you record it with another device or publish your game online, you can see that it's there. I mean, it's relativity of Einstein.
Here is the record of it: watch?v=TYnRL-x6DVI

In this universe, everything is fine. Everything is synchronized. Diagnostic tools etc. cant't find any anormally. But for us, poor users, it's a nightmare.
The point is
i am using win10
playing i dont get any stuttering or audio distorted
i just get stuttering when i see while working a movie with VLC or youtube
I downgraded bios to 321 and let's see if it still stutter
The stuttering seems to be also with bios 321.
What do you suggest to do with my ASUS TUF FX516PM model because on windows
TPM seems to be ready see attachment on Bios i don't see anything about fTPM but i see that secure boot is enabled?
How to fix this fu** stuttering? I will never buy a Asus again
Hi there,
if the issue happen when you are using the integrated graphic card, please try to reinstall the driver, or use the initial version.
Thank you.
i tried multiple times without success.
i re-installed win10 twice and the issue is still there and i am confused cause someone tell me it depends by TPM someone by Nvidia card and someone by Integrated cards...
do you mean the Intel graphic card ?
Hi there,
The Intel card is your integrated GPU and NV card is your independent GPU.
When you are playing games, the NV card is working.
When you are watching video, normally it's the Intel card working.
That's why I am assuming and narrowing down to focus on the Intel card.
So have you tried that as well?
Thank you.
OK i understand. The Intel integrated card has
tried to replace it with driver standard Windows or with an old version of the Intel Xe Graphics
and after a while i still get the stuttering
Hi there,
Last thing to try.
If you set all the program be run by the Nv card, does it stutter?
If not, then the issue is really on the Intel card. I would suggest you to send the laptop to our service center.
Thank you.
actually i dont know how to set all the program be run by the Nv card
Hi there,
You can enter the Nvidia Control Panel, by right click on your desktop or by entering the app directly.
Thank you.
